New Construction

For new rig sites, roads or battery pads, Big D specializes in all aspects of new construction including dozer and motor grading, excavation, hauling, backhoe, assessments and clearings. Our years of experience and industry expertise ensure against encroachment on buried lines, fiber optics or other underground wiring or cabling during the construction process.

Locations/Lease Roads

Big D conducts site assessments and clearings to ensure against encroachment on underground obstructions before compaction of the surface, so that usage and movement of heavy equipment does not damage the site.

Frac Pit Construction

Big D specializes in frac pits ranging from 175’ x 175’ to 500’ x 800’; holding 24,000 to 100,000 barrels.  With ten full-time crews to run and seam polyethylene liners, ranging from 6ml to 100ml in thickness, your frac pit can be constructed quickly and efficiently to ensure against leakage and contamination.

Pit Closures

Whether your site calls for a standard pit closure, where the exposed liner is removed and mixed until the soil is dried then covered with 12”-24” of natural cover soil, or a deep buried pit closure, where the 18’ depth is filled and covered with 24”-28” of natural cover soil, Big D will ensure safe closings from start to finish on your completed well.
